The first Digital Signal Processing Summer Seminar (DSPSS)	This two-week intensive summer training helped prepare a group of young Vietnamese scientists in this cutting-edge technology. As a result, they will also be more prepared for future graduate study in the U.S., including becoming VEF Fellows.	The 58 participants were selected from final year undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty in mathematics, physics, computer science, and electronics and telecommunications.
