Welcome to the Vietnam Education Foundation. We are pleased that you have learned about us and have chosen to visit our website.

The Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) is a special initiative by the government and the people of the United States to promote closer relations between the U.S. and Vietnam. We do so by providing opportunities for Vietnamese nationals to pursue graduate and post-graduate studies in science and technology in the U.S., and for American citizens to teach in the same fields of study in Vietnam. In short, we invest in the human capital of Vietnam and believe that we ourselves will become better from such investment.

From these educational exchanges, the citizens of Vietnam and the United States will gain a deeper understanding of each other and our respective histories, as well as foster and promote a closer and enduring friendship.
